Apart from some exceptions, the Community rules do not allow the import of meat, meat products, milk and milk products by travelers.
Animal or plants or their parts, covered by Washington Convention (CITES)
Travelers must be aware that certain wildlife animals, plants or their parts are protected by Washington Convention (CITES). The import of these is severely restricted pursuant to the Community rules.
Pets
Pet owners must observe the Community rules on traveling with/of pet animals.

Travelling with € 10.000 cash or more
Travelers entering or leaving the EU and carrying €10.000 cash or more (or its equivalent in other currencies or easily convertible assets such as cheques drawn by a third party) must declare it with the Customs. This follows the new European Regulation that entered into force, aimed at obstruction of money laundering and terrorism financing. The Customs authorities are empowered by the Regulation to undertake controls of individuals, their baggage and their means of transport and to detain cash that has not been declared.
Travelers must be aware that all Member States apply penalties in the event of non-observance of the obligation to-declare money, as is specified in the Regulation. Some Member States may apply additional measures in accordance with their national legislation (e.g. intra-community cash controls).

Customs and tax allowances for travelers
If you enter EU through airport which is not in EU country, goods in your personal baggage having no commercial character can be imported free of customs duties, VAT and excise duties within the following limits:| Product | Amount |

Up to the value of €430 for air and sea travelers. The value on an individual item may not be split up. The value of personal baggage (i.e. suitcases) and medicinal products for personal needs of the traveler do not count. Travelers under 15 years of age can be exempted from paying import fees up to the value of 150 €. |
